Institute of Public Affairs (IPA)

Institute of Public Affairs (IPA) is a leading Polish think tank and an independent centre for policy research and analysis, established in 1995. Our mission is to contribute to informed public debate on key Polish, European and global policy issues. Our main areas of study include European policy, social policy, civil society, migration and development policy as well as law and democratic institutions. The IPA has a team of in-house researchers/policy analysts and an extensive network of associate experts from academia and other paths of life. We publish the results of our projects in research reports, policy papers and books, which are broadly disseminated among members of parliament, government officials and civil servants, academics, journalists and civil society activists. Every year the iPA hosts dozens of conferences, seminars, round tables, workshops and other events with the participation of key policy and opinion makers. Our experts regularly comment on current policy issues in printed and electronic media.

The Next Economy Lab (NELA) is an independent, non-profit think-and-do tank based in Germany that works with companies, politicians, trade unions and civil society actors to implement concepts for a socially just, climate-positive and cooperative economy and society. NELA aims to actively promote a just socio-ecological transformation and empower people to tackle key challenges such as climate change, social inequality and democratic erosion. The organisation focuses on systemic approaches to economic change, inspired by concepts such as doughnut economics, and places particular emphasis on sufficiency, economic democracy and global justice thinking. The European Trade Union Institute (ETUI)

The European Trade Union Institute is the independent research and training centre of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) which itself affiliates European trade unions into a single European umbrella organisation. The ETUI places its expertise – acquired in particular in the context of its links with universities, academic and expert networks – in the service of workers' interests at European level and of the strengthening of the social dimension of the European Union. As an international non-profit-making association, the ETUI has been set up to conduct research and provide scientific, educational and technical support to the ETUC and its affiliates. To carry out this overall mission, the ETUI supports, reinforces and stimulates the European trade union movement, in order to contribute to the development of Social Europe. The ETUI is co-funded by the European Union.
